IKEA announces end date for online sale

As stated in the message of the company, the possibility of online shopping will end at 20:00 Moscow time on August 15. At the same time, the stores themselves will remain closed and will only work to issue received orders. At this time, it will also be possible to return and exchange goods.

“All orders placed before the end of online sales will be processed, issued or delivered during August and September at the time agreed upon when ordering”, - Kommersant reports.

Like many Western companies, after the start of the military special operation of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, IKEA closed its stores in Russia.

Since July 5, an online sale of goods began on the company's website, and shortly before that, IKEA announced the sale of four of its factories in Russia. It is expected that after the completion of the sale, the IKEA business in Russia will be closed.
