The Ministry of Construction declared it impossible to collect all debts for housing and communal services

Aleksey Yeresko, Deputy Ministry of Construction, admitted that part of the debts in the housing and communal services sector could not be returned. He estimated the size of the debt at 1.4 trillion rubles, which, according to him, is a “very large” figure.

But there is no point in relying on this amount, because it "Does not reflect the real picture." Most of the debt was formed "for enterprises, many of which no longer exist, for real estate objects that no longer exist."

Recall that in the first quarter of this year, the debts of Russians for housing and communal services increased by 7.6% compared to last year, to 804.5 billion rubles.
