A fatal accident with a minibus and trucks occurred in the Ulyanovsk region (VIDEO)

“On August 21, at about 2:00 pm, a traffic accident occurred on the M5-Ural highway in the Nikolaevsky district of the Ulyanovsk region. Preliminarily, as a result of an accident, 14 people died and three were hospitalized in serious condition. The information is being specified”, - the message on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Ulyanovsk region says.

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated. According to the preliminary version, the truck driver drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a minibus.

“Fifteen people died as a result of an accident in the Ulyanovsk region, three victims were hospitalized in serious condition”, - the source told RIA Novosti.

According to the preliminary version, all the dead are citizens of Kazakhstan, the agency reports. The Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region Alexey Russkikh instructed to establish the circumstances of the incident and provide the necessary assistance to the victims.

“Now the doctors of the Nikolaev regional hospital are fighting for the lives of three survivors of a terrible accident. Two men and one woman are in critical condition. All necessary medical assistance is provided. We are preparing patients for transfer to the regional specialized trauma center, which is located in Ulyanovsk”, - Russian Russkikh said on his Telegram channel.
