The euro fell below $0.9935 against the dollar for the first time in 20 years

According to Forex Capital Markets, the euro fell below $0.9935. The currency traded at this level for the last time in 2002.
At the close of trading, the euro traded at $1.0034. At 18.52 Moscow time, it fell to $0.9928. At the close of trading on the Moscow Exchange, the US currency rose to 59.87 rubles/$, the euro fell to 59.48 rubles/€.
On August 19, the dollar at the opening of trading on Friday fell below 58 rubles, updating the monthly minimum.
