The Soviet District Court of the city of Ivanovo terminated the administrative case against a local resident Vladislav Gainov, against whom on March 13 a protocol was drawn up on discrediting the Russian army because of the poster "Peace to the world."

«After analyzing the evidence presented, the court concludes that the guilt of Gainova The.A. not established or proven. <...> Evidence confirming that the actions of Gainova V.A. were aimed at discrediting the actions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the court has not been presented, ”the court ruling says .

To assess the actions of the defendant, a linguistic examination was appointed, which established that the statement does not contain statements about the actions of the RF Armed Forces, and also does not have a negative assessment of the actions of the Russian military. The poster itself was an A4 sheet of paper, on which the phrase "Peace to the world" was printed in black type. The experts found that the statement does not induce "to take any actions related to the use" of the RF Armed Forces.

Gaynov was detained by police officers on March 13. An administrative protocol was drawn up against him under part 1 of article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (public actions aimed at discrediting the Russian Armed Forces). Documents and personal belongings, including a mobile phone, were confiscated from him, which the court ordered to return.
