More than 80% of Russians lost - partially or completely - their savings after February of this year, 8% were left without a financial cushion at all, follows from the results of a survey by AlfaStrakhovanie.

According to Forbes, referring to the study, 34% of respondents noted an increase in expenses for everyday needs by 20-30% . 19% of survey participants did not lose anything. 21% lost almost all their savings, 52% - a small part of them. For 30% , spending increased by 10% , for 15% - by 30-50%. 6% reported spending cuts, of which 82 % saw their spending cut by more than half.

It was previously known that 39% of citizens do not save money and immediately spend everything they earn for current needs. About 14% of Russians surveyed by VTsIOM, having received income, first set aside part of the funds for large expenses, and spend the rest on current needs.
