A lesson on the spiritual and moral culture of the peoples of Russia will appear in schools

The Ministry of Education indicated that the subject would become a semantic continuation of the course "Fundamentals of Religious Cultures and Secular Ethics", which is studied in 4th grade. Teaching will be aimed at the "development of the personality" of students, as well as their "introduction to Russian traditional spiritual and moral values, rules and norms of behavior in society".

Recall that from September 5, students of the first and second grades will have "talks about the unity of the country, about how it is necessary to preserve and protect their culture, their people." Pupils of the third and fourth grades will be told what to love the Motherland means, among other things, "to perform military duties, to be in military service." The script for the lesson for grades 5-7 includes a conversation about the events in Ukraine.
