“Timur Bekmansurov, who is charged with a number of serious crimes, is in the dock”, - an Interfax correspondent said from the courtroom.
According to investigators, the defendant opened fire in one of the buildings of the Perm State National Research University on September 20, 2021, as a result of which six people died and 47 were injured. In addition, the property of the university and vehicles were damaged. Bekmansurov was in custody all this time, and in August the preventive measure was extended until October 27.
The defendant pleaded guilty. He was not registered with narcologists or a psychiatrist. He is charged with p.p. "a, e, and" part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - Murder, part 3 of Art. 30, art. 105 - Attempted murder, Art. 317 - Encroachment on the life of law enforcement officers, as well as Part 2 of Art. 167 - Deliberate destruction or damage to property.
