All three were taken to the village of Klyuchi in the Ust-Kamchatsky region. From there they will be taken aboard the territorial center for disaster medicine and taken to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
Recall that on September 3, a group of ten tourists and two guides went to Klyuchevskaya. When they reached 4150 meters, five climbers fell off and died. Then three more people died. Later it became known about another dead.
The rescue operation was complicated by severe weather conditions : layers of ash and gale-force winds with gusts of up to 30 meters per second prevent movement along the slope.
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against the head of the Extreme Time company and the guide-instructor in connection with the death of nine tourists on the Klyuchevskaya Sopka volcano. They are charged with committing a crime under Article 238 (“Providing services that do not meet the requirements of life safety and health, resulting in the death of two or more people”). Searches were carried out in the office of the company that sent tourists to Kamchatka, the director of the organization was detained, and witnesses are being interrogated.
