According to the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper, back in 2012, the Design Bureau of Mechanical Engineering in Kolomna completed tests of the Iskander-M OTRK with new types of missiles and a new control system. Two years later, the modernized Shturm-SM self-propelled ATGM was put into service, and in 2015, the Verba MANPADS, then the Kinzhal, and last year, Izdeliye 305, a light multi-purpose missile.
The missile is capable of reaching speeds of up to 230 kilometers per hour, is equipped with a high-explosive fragmentation warhead weighing 25 kg and an optical thermal imaging homing head. The Ka-52M and Mi-28NM helicopters are equipped with ammunition. In 2019, it was tested on a Mi-28NM helicopter in Syria.
At the end of August, it became known that Russia received the first batch of Iranian drones that could be used during a special operation on the territory of Ukraine. Iran sent at least two types of drones to Russia - Mohajer-6 and Shahed. They are suitable for strikes against military targets and firing at radar systems.
