“In the Valuysky urban district, 15 km along the border, we are transferring schools to distance learning,” Kommersant quotes the words of the head of the region.
According to the authorities, only duty groups will work in kindergartens in the Valuysky and Shebekinsky districts.
The introduction of special measures in the region was required against the background of the ongoing military operation of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine. As it is carried out, Russian border towns and villages are increasingly becoming targets of shelling.

Prior to this, during the shelling, residential buildings and infrastructure facilities in several other settlements of the Kursk and Belgorod regions were damaged.
