According to the gas giant, for the period from January 1 to September 15, Gazprom reduced gas production by 15.9%. In total, Gazprom produced 300.8 billion cubic meters. Almost 16% of the unreceived amounts to more than 56 billion cubic meters.

"Exports to non-CIS countries amounted to 84.8 billion cubic meters, which is 38.8% (by 53.7 billion cubic meters) less than in the same period in 2021," Gazprom said.

And if gas supplies to Europe have completely stopped since August 31, then exports to the Asian market are breaking records. “In September, deliveries regularly exceed daily contract quantities. On September 10, a new historical record for daily export volume was set”, - Gazprom said.

Earlier, the head of Gazprom, Alexei Miller, commented that the volume of gas supplies to the Chinese market increased by 60% in eight months of 2022. According to Miller, the company intends to consistently increase deliveries through Power of Siberia.

In April of this year, it became known that Russia and China agreed to increase the pumping capacity along the Far East route by 10 billion cubic meters per year - up to 48 billion cubic meters.
