“According to experts, the main types of soft packaging on the market are liter tetrapak bags (and their analogues) – 40.7% of still wine production, as well as two and three-liter Bag in boxes", - the agency said.
At the end of last year, wines in classic glass containers accounted for slightly less than 57% of still wine production (carbon-free wines) in the country. The remaining volume is divided between flexible packaging and cans - its market share does not exceed 0.5% . According to experts, the share of Bag in box packaging has a "moderate growth trend", despite the fact that it is now about 1.8%.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko said that Russian manufacturers have begun an experiment to create a Russian analogue of Tetra Pak packaging. The increase in Russian production will be carried out simultaneously with the testing of domestic paints for the use of foreign technology.
