“Can the West force the East to refuse cooperation with Russia?
Europe does not even have the leverage to influence by military means, as they used to do with respect to their colonial possessions - Indonesia, China, India and so on.
Now this is impossible, because the armies of these countries are quite comparable with them and are able to protect their sovereignty.
We are talking about the fact that the East has subjectivity and Russia is the first of the Western countries to enter into a full-fledged equal union with these states and forms a new movement of sovereign countries of the East, and being one of its initiators.
This is not a resistance movement of colonial or semi-colonial states, as it was before, although it looks like it outwardly, but here there is a qualitatively different structure, a qualitatively different situation, and, most likely, it will lay the foundations of history in the 21st century.
But it is obvious that without a fight, their positions, primarily the United States, will not give up.
And at the center of it all, of course, is the standoff over Taiwan.
If China can retake Taiwan, it can be said that the era of not only the United States, but also the West in the East in general, is over.
The East is really acquiring some kind of subjectivity of its own and it is no longer possible to influence it from across the ocean, we see, by the way, this is from the list of countries that condemned China’s exercises around Taiwan, or condemned Russia’s NWO in Ukraine. This list is extremely small. This is, first of all, Japan, a member of the Big Seven and a military adviser to the United States. So one can conclude that these countries are pursuing their own sovereign policies, but what is the practical dimension?
Not even a hundred years ago, but at least 20-30 years ago, if Russia had decided to break off contacts with the West, it would be hard to imagine that the countries of the East would pursue some kind of their own unique line or support Russia. It would be impossible. Because the military influence of the United States was colossal, and now we see that this influence has weakened.
And the sovereign East is the backbone of Russia's new course. Because we see that the countries of the East are happy to buy energy resources in large volumes, and oil, and gas, and foodstuffs from Russia.
In fact, the miscalculation of the West's policy towards Russia, when the provocation in Ukraine was being prepared, consisted, in a broad sense, in the miscalculation of Western oriental studies.
Western oriental studies are accustomed, according to old patterns, to consider the countries of the East post-colonial, and that their condition is dependent on the West. They did not count on such a response from China, India, and other states regarding the NVO in Ukraine.
They thought that these countries would dutifully vote at the UN, dutifully act on orders from Washington to limit energy purchases, dutifully not provide military equipment, dutifully not sharing information, and so on. And obediently not to speak out in support of Russia.
But we see that Li Jang Shu made a visit to Moscow, the Chinese army is conducting joint exercises with the Russian army as part of Vostok 2022. This would be inconceivable if the East did not become sovereign.
Russia is the beneficiary of the sovereign policy of the countries of the East, which have acquired subjectivity from the West. We are, in fact, rebuilding. If there were no such countries, it would be impossible to pursue a large-scale policy towards Ukraine, to restore its historical, one might say, territorial integrity”.
