Protests begin in Iran after the death of a girl detained because of a hijab

According to Al Jazeera, on September 13, Mahsa Amini arrived in the capital from Sekkeze, she was leaving the subway with her brother, and then she was detained by law enforcement officers for violating the rules of wearing a hijab. From the police, the girl was taken to the hospital in a coma, she soon died. Relatives of the deceased told the publication that the girl had no health problems.

She was taken to the hospital where she was in a coma for several days. She was then taken off life support and declared dead. The entire country is demanding an investigation into what really happened, members of Mahsa Amini's family said.

According to the official version, which was announced by the Iranian authorities, she died of a heart attack. The hospital said that the police brought her to a medical facility when she was already without signs of life. Protests after her death began in Sekkez and other cities. The demonstrators gathered at the administrative buildings, the women took off their hijabs in protest and threw them up.
