Pugacheva declared solidarity with Galkin * and asked authorities to include her into the list of the foreign agents

“I ask you to enroll me in the ranks of foreign agents of my beloved country, because I am in solidarity with my husband”, - Pugacheva said through social networks (quoted by RIA Novosti).

Maxim Galkin* was included by the Ministry of Justice in the list of natural persons-foreign agents on Friday. The department justified the entry of the showman into the register by “carrying out political activities”, and Ukraine was indicated as a source of funding. The artist denies this.

The co-author of the bill on foreign agents, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Pyotr Tolstoy, in an interview with Podyom, said that in this way the singer would not become a foreign agent, and also noted that she had "lost touch with reality".

“I am sorry that Pugacheva, the former most popular singer in the country, has lost touch with reality so much and is in solidarity with those who today want Russia to lose. Now its place is in the historical museum of the times of the USSR. Probably the saddest thing for an artist is to stop feeling his country and his people, to fall out of the history of his Motherland. And she, unlike Galkin, will not have another country. And she will not become a foreign agent, and she will no longer find support among decent Russian people. We will win without her songs”, - said Tolstoy.
