- A referendum on the entry of the Lugansk People's Republic into the Russian Federation as a subject of the Russian Federation will be held from September 23 to 27, - the publication says.

On September 19, the public chambers of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics appealed to the heads of Denis Pushilin and Leonid Pasechnik with a call for an urgent referendum on joining Russia as subjects.
