Who and when: what the partial mobilization scheme looks like

The Decree on partial military mobilization announced by Putin, in fact, according to experts, does not give any details of mobilization - it is formulated as broadly as possible. This means that Putin leaves the details to the free discretion of Defense Minister Shoigu, who will decide for himself who, in what quantity and from where to call for participation in the special operation.

And so, the mobilization mechanism will be as follows: the Ministry of Defense will form quotas for each region of the country, for the implementation of which the governors will be responsible. This, by the way, is very reminiscent of Kadyrov's guess, who spoke a few days ago about self-mobilization of the regions.

Priority mobilization orders will be awarded to reservists who have served in the army men who have signed a contract to stay in the reserve. Then will follow the men who are in the reserve according to the categories indicated in the table. In principle, according to experts, this decree allows the mobilization of an unlimited number of conscripts, but so far Shoigu has set the bar at 300,000 people.
