Official Tokyo called the new list of sanctions its "contribution to international conditions in connection with the situation in Ukraine and taking into account the measures taken by leading countries."
The sanctions affected the export of grain, as well as "other transactions with certain companies." The ban comes into effect on Monday, September 26. It is clarified that we are talking, among other things, about Mashpriborintorg, Inteko, Etalon, Energia, Salute, Oktyabr (Tambov), Evgeny Krayushin.
Since February 24, 2022, Japan has announced sanctions against 287 Russian companies and organizations.
