Russians who went abroad after the announcement of partial mobilization in the country will still return to their homeland, their departure should be taken calmly, Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko believes.

During a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Lukashenka said that the country has a sufficient mobilization resource - 25 million people.

- Well, let them run away, well, 30 thousand, well, 50 thousand. Would they, if they had stayed here, would they have been our people? Well, let them run, - said the Belarusian leader.

He advised to decide what to do with those who would return.

“Either let them come here or let them feed on free bread there,” Lukashenka said.

The president of Belarus himself promised his citizens not to mobilize in the republic. Belarus will respond to threats and terrorist danger, the president said. To ensure the necessary level of preparedness, regular exercises are and will be conducted in the country.

Mobilization in Russia was announced on September 21 by a decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to the plans of the Ministry of Defense, at the first stage, it is planned to send about 300 thousand people to the trenches.
