“Five alleged evaders from partial mobilization were identified the day before in Moscow using a face recognition system - cameras caught them in different parts of the city: two on Krasnoyarskaya Street, one each at the Belorussky railway station, in Golyanovo and Otradnoye”, - the SHOT Telegram channel reports.
According to the source, four of them were taken to the police or military registration and enlistment offices for further investigation. The search for another alleged evader continues.
Later it became known that one of the alleged evaders, calculated using the facial recognition system, was released after clarifying the information. It turned out to be 25-year-old Alexander, who previously served in the Aerospace Forces, at the Plesetsk cosmodrome, but after the service he had vision problems.
“One of the persons calculated by the face recognition system in Moscow was released. 25-year-old Alexander says that he did not evade and came to the military registration and enlistment office on the agenda. He brought a certificate that he was not fit because of very poor eyesight. There they talked to him and released him”, - SHOT reported.
Alexander said that a few days later he was stopped by the police in the area of the Belorussky railway station. At first they sorted it out on the spot, but then they took him to the department, where he spent 2 hours in the “monkey house”, and then to the military registration and enlistment office.
“They rechecked everything again, the employee of the military registration and enlistment office apologized, and the guy was released again”, - the source notes.
Alexander himself in a conversation said that his erroneous detention was due to the fact that the military registration and enlistment office forgot to put a seal confirming unfitness for service.
