According to Kommersant, the right to immediate marriage in the presence of special circumstances gives citizens Art. 11 of the Family Code of the Russian Federation.
“The head of the registry office may decide to register the marriage directly on the day the application is submitted”, - the statement says.
In order to prove the existence of “special circumstances”, it is necessary to submit a summons, certificate or notice of conscription to military service for mobilization to the registry office.
In the event of the death of a spouse during hostilities, the family of a mobilized person will receive monetary compensation and benefits. People who have not officially registered their relationship cannot count on help from the state.
On September 21, by decree of Vladimir Putin, partial mobilization was announced in Russia. It is subject to soldiers with army experience up to 35 years old and junior officers up to 45 years old, as well as senior officers up to 65 years old and senior officers up to 70 years old.
Along with men, women without officer rank up to 45 years of age and female officers up to 50 years of age may also be subject to mobilization.
According to the Ministry of Defense, a total of at least 300,000 people are planned to be sent to the front.
The Kremlin denied the information that instead of the declared 300,000, they plan to mobilize 1.2 million people.
