Stop lying! Why did State Duma speaker Volodin not listen to Simonyan and Roskomnadzor?

29 сентября 2022, 14:20
The morning of September 29 began with a startling statement by a third person in the state - the speaker of the State Duma Volodin, that leaving the place of residence is prohibited for ALL Russian citizens who are on the military register. By noon, the speaker's words were refuted, but questions remained ...

Sergey Lvov

"Russians who are registered with the military, since the announcement of mobilization, are prohibited from leaving their place of residence, including abroad, without the permission of the military commissariats", - as the speaker wrote State Duma Viacheslav Volodin in his Telegram channel.

According to the politician, this is stated in the federal law "On mobilization preparation and mobilization in the Russian Federation".

“There is such a norm of the law, and all those liable for military service should be guided by it”, - Volodin wrote, emphasizing that conflicting explanations are given on information resources on the issue of the departure of persons liable for military service abroad.

Oh how! Now, then, the lawmaker Volodin has put all the dots over the I? And from now on, you won’t go on a business trip, or on vacation, or on pancakes to your mother-in-law from Moscow to Ryazan without a certificate from the military commissar?

Nothing happened.

Just hundreds of media and hundreds of thousands of citizens in messenger chats informed the country and the world about a complete ban on movement around the country and the world, when the same media and people recalled the statement of the Ministry of Defense of September 26:

"During the period of partial mobilization, there are no restrictions on the movement of citizens".

Andrey Klishas, Head of the Committee of the Federation Council on Constitutional Legislation and State Building, then took on the task of correcting the speaker's outpourings:

“Yes, indeed, in accordance with the Federal Law “On the procedure for leaving the Russian Federation and the procedure for entering the Russian Federation,” the travel ban applies only to persons called up for military service, that is, to persons who have received a summons”, - Klishas said.

According to the senator, this law "does not provide for restrictions during the period of mobilization on leaving the Russian Federation for persons who are registered with the military, but have not yet received a summons."

And finally, by noon, Volodin himself corrected himself in the TG:

"An explanation was received from the Russian Ministry of Defense. Since the mobilization is partial, the norm of Article 21 of Law 31-FZ does not apply. In this connection, the movement of citizens registered with the military does not require permission from the military commissariats".

Volodin, however, did not apologize for the kipish arranged throughout the country.

Then how to evaluate his statement? How fake?

Well then, it is worth recalling the special message of Roskomnadzor sent a week ago to all the media. In it, in plain text and on pain of blocking publications, any free interpretation of issues related to partial mobilization is prohibited. The RKN requires everyone to rely only on "official sources".

And we ask ourselves: the third position in the state is an official source or a private person who, in his TG channel, can carry any, excuse me, nonsense and misinformation?

Especially malicious nature of the horror story about partial mobilization and the rights of citizens is perceived today, now, when millions of families in Russia are making a very difficult choice. And their feelings are far from the bravado of hyperpatriotic Internet trolls or the drunken prowess of some conscripts. After all, in fact, they and hundreds of thousands of those who have not yet been called up are not going to Disneyland for a walk. And each person still has the right to doubt or choose a behavior model that he personally considers optimal. Therefore, from the authorities of all levels, citizens expect not gag and self-promotion, but EXACT, legally verified information. And certainly one should not frighten anyone, deceive, hoot after, threatening to deprive personal cars, block bank cards and other "consequences". Unless, of course, individual statesmen do not want to arrange a civil war in Russia.

By the way, Volodin's statement coincided with the release of a meme from Margarita Simonyan on her own TG channel.

"Stop lying!", - Margarita boldly demanded from the state and society.

True, Simonyan did not name the specific names of the liars. So every fan of her talents has the right to a personal choice of liars.
