State Duma deputies put forward an initiative to introduce a “military tax” in Russia for those who have never served in the army and did not participate in mobilization.

This proposal was made by the first deputy head of the Duma faction "A Just Russia - for the Truth" Oleg Nilov.

“Why not introduce a military tax for those who did not serve in the army, for white-ticket workers, in the first place. It is clear in what ways these white tickets are sometimes obtained. For those who are not subject to mobilization for various reasons”, - Nilov said.

Earlier it was reported that after the decree of the President of the Russian Federation on partial mobilization, a stream of emigrants poured out of the country who did not want to participate in hostilities in Ukraine. About 300,000 people left the country in a week. Mostly they went to Kazakhstan, Georgia, Turkey, Finland and a number of other countries.

In some states, the Russians were met with understanding, in others the flow of migrants caused discontent. The opposition in Georgia has proposed introducing an "occupation fee" of $350 for Russians coming to the country.
