In Moscow, the summons came to theater critic Yegor Sidoruk, who is a wheelchair user. In a wheelchair, he went to pick up the summons.

“One was silent, and the second asked: “How are you?”. I show him the wheelchair and say in a cheerful voice: “Well, like this...”. He answered me: "Well done, smart boy". Polite people…”, Yegor Sidoruk told the channel “We can explain”.

He added that those who came to hand over the summons were so shocked that they no longer talked about being called to the military registration and enlistment office.

At the military registration and enlistment office, the stepfather of the wheelchair user was informed that the lists had been printed out by the council and now the summons were being distributed to everyone. The military registration and enlistment office promised to bring Yegor Sidoruk into their own base and not disturb him anymore.

Recall that this is not the first case of conscription of people with disabilities and diseases that do not allow them to participate in hostilities. In a number of regions, summonses began to be sent to wheelchair users with cerebral palsy, disabled citizens with schizophrenia and severe autism , as well as blind people and pensioners with cerebral ischemia. In the Sverdlovsk region, for example, a dying person with the last stage of liver cirrhosis was mobilized. Shortly thereafter, he passed away.
