Lukashenko: Russia and Belarus will use a joint group of troops

The decision was made in connection with the aggravation of the situation on the western borders. According to the Belarusian president, if the threat level reaches the level it is now, the countries will use the Union State grouping.

“I must inform you that the formation of this group has begun. It has been going on for two days, I think. My order was given to start forming this group”, - the Belarusian president said. His words are quoted by Belta.

Alexander Lukashenko added that the number of Russian troops in this grouping would be small, as now there is no time for that. "But it will not be one thousand people," Alexander Lukashenko said.

He instructed to ensure the deployment of this group.

The Belarusian president also warned Ukraine against attacking Belarus. “Tell the president of Ukraine and other insane people, if they are still there, that the Crimean bridge will seem like flowers to them, if only they touch at least one meter of our territory with their dirty hands”, - the Belarusian president said.
