Oligarch Milner renounced Russian citizenship

Billionaire Yuri Milner, ranked 15th in the list of the richest Russian businessmen, announced his renunciation of Russian citizenship.

Milner wrote about this in his blog: “Me and my family left Russia forever in 2014 (…) And this summer we officially completed the process of renunciation of Russian citizenship”.

Recall that back in the spring of this year, the American Forbes reported that several entrepreneurs of Russian origin at once turned to the magazine with a request not to include them in the list of Russian billionaires. Among them were including Milner and Pavel Durov.

It is known that Milner, in addition to Russian citizenship, has an Israeli passport. His fortune is estimated at $ 7.3 billion, this year he ranked 15th in the ranking of the richest people in the country according to Forbes.
