Another third of the respondents said that they would extend their savings for no more than 1-2 months. 6% of Russians will have enough savings for half a year. And only 5% of the country's inhabitants have savings, which can be used for more than one year in case of job loss.
Compared to last year, the savings of the country's residents have declined. If last year they would have been enough to live an average of four months, now the residents of the country can live only 3.8 months on average with the available deferred funds.
The survey showed that only two-thirds of Russians (68% of survey participants) keep records of their expenses. At the same time, only 13% of them strictly monitor their expenses, the rest calculate them approximately. Costs are controlled mainly by residents over 45 years old, as well as those whose incomes exceed 80 thousand rubles a month.
Every fifth inhabitant of the country assesses the level of their financial literacy as high. More than half of the respondents reported an average level of financial literacy.
