The United States has launched a demining assistance project in Ukraine. The project will cost $47.6 million, the US State Department said.

"On September 30, the State Department allocated $47.6 million to Tetra Tech, Inc. from Pasadena, California, to provide urgent humanitarian assistance to Ukraine in demining", - the message says.

The company will "strengthen Ukraine's ability to detect and clear landmines, unexploded and abandoned ordnance, improvised explosive devices and other explosive ordnance from civilian areas." Tetra Tech will also provide Kyiv with the tools to carry out demining work. The project is part of a $91.5 million demining assistance the State Department will provide over the coming year.

Late last month, the Pentagon announced that the Kiev regime would receive another $275 million in military aid. At the same time, the US authorities are afraid that the supply of military aid to Kyiv will be used for other purposes, which is why Washington decided to monitor where the supplies go, as it was in Afghanistan.

At the same time, the allocation of billions of dollars to Ukraine seriously shook the rating of US President Joe Biden - now only 39% of US citizens support him.
