Washington has received information that allegedly indicates that North Korea secretly supplied Russia with a significant amount of artillery shells for combat operations in Ukraine, said John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the US National Security Council.

Washington may respond to Pyongyang's alleged moves with sanctions, State Department spokesman Ned Price said.

“Our data indicates that the DPRK is making clandestine deliveries (to Russia), and we intend to monitor whether these deliveries are received”, - Price quoted Reuters as saying.

He assured that the White House is using "all tools" to prevent the supply of weapons, including drones, to Moscow from Tehran and will use them in the case of Pyongyang. Such sanctions mechanisms “already exist”, but Washington will consider additional tools to counter such activities.

Back in early autumn, the DPRK announced that it had not supplied weapons to Russia, She also assured that she would not do so. Pyongyang demanded that Washington stop spreading rumors aimed at tarnishing the republic's image.

Earlier, Israeli President Yitzhak Herzog, during a visit to the United States , presented to Pentagon representatives images allegedly confirming the facts of the use of Iranian UAVs in Ukraine. The first slide depicts Iranian Shahed-136 drones, the other shows fragments of Russian Geran-2 drones allegedly found in Ukraine. This, according to Israeli intelligence, is evidence of the use of Iranian technology in the fighting in Ukraine.

Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vasily Nebenzya warned that if representatives of the Organization conduct an investigation into the use of Iranian-made kamikaze drones in Ukraine, Moscow will reconsider its relations with the UN Secretariat.
