She added that this is a "routine sanitary measure" to protect livestock in large enterprises.

According to Kommersant, all employees of the enterprise were forcibly vaccinated. The same disease was found on the Japanese island of Hokkaido.

The Governor of the Sakhalin Region Valery Limarenko has introduced a quarantine for highly pathogenic bird flu. After the “slaughter of the last bird”, quarantine will be in effect for another 21 days.
