Despite the depressing trends in the Russian economy, there are still reasons for optimism. In particular, the fact that small and medium-sized businesses will revive in the country. This is hinted at by the figures presented on the website of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation, according to which, as of the end of October, 6 million self-employed people were already registered in Russia, that is, another million people have been added over the past 5 months. Since the beginning of 2019, when the experiment was launched, they have registered revenues of more than 1.5 trillion rubles.
It is noteworthy that half of those who are registered as self-employed had no official income before this registration. That is, "whitewashing" occurred for 3 million people. The remaining 3 million are those for whom this mode of doing microbusiness turned out to be more convenient or became an addition to work for hire. Every day, more than 7,000 people register as new participants in the special regime. At the same time, every second person did not have official income before being registered as payers of professional income tax.
According to the Federal Tax Service, the average check for self-employed services is 1,600 rubles. Basically, they work as taxi drivers, couriers, rent out housing, provide repair services, and also sell goods of their own production.
The results of the experiment with the self-employed so far look very successful - despite the fact that the experiment itself (with unchanged conditions) should continue until the end of 2028, experts of the Bla-bla-nomika channel believe: “The main thing is not to lose confidence in him, and also to create conditions for self-employed projects to grow over this time from “micro” to the category of small, and even medium-sized businesses
