“From the reserve fund of the regional administration, relatives will be paid 100,000 rubles for each deceased”, - the authorities said in a statement.
Earlier, Deputy Mayor of Kostroma Oleg Bolohovets said that the city authorities would pay for the funeral of the dead.
The fire in the club "Polygon" occurred on November 5. As a result of the tragedy, 13 people died and six were injured. The cause of the fire was a shot from a rocket launcher at the ceiling of the establishment. As part of the criminal case on the fact of the fire, the alleged shooter, 23-year-old Stanislav Ionkin, and the director of the Imperia company, Natalia Belenogova, who was in charge of the cafe, were detained.
In addition, a criminal case was initiated on negligence against officials due to non-compliance with fire safety requirements at the facility, including due to the lack of inspections.
Residents of Kostroma are amazed at the insignificance of the amount in which the city authorities estimated the lives of the townspeople who died, including due to an oversight of organizations controlling fire safety.
