Turkey bans flights of Russian planes with dual registration

According to RBC, due to the need to fly around Turkey, the duration of flights, for example, to Egypt has increased by 20-30 minutes. The Ministry of Transport blamed Bermuda for what was happening, which did not remove the aircraft of Russian carriers from registration, and called for these liners to be excluded from their register. The representative of the department called the delay in the deregistration of aircraft by the Bermuda Aviation Register a gross violation of the Chicago Convention.

Recall that on April 11, the European Commission blacklisted 20 Russian airlines for air safety. This was due to the fact that the registration of foreign aircraft in the state register of the Russian Federation allowed air carriers to use aircraft without having the appropriate international certificates.
