New Year's corporate parties for officials are canceled in Yakutia

"It would be wrong to deprive children of the New Year, a holiday that little Yakutians are looking forward to", - pointed out the head of administration Georgy Mikhailov.

He added that “we consider it right to refrain from corporate festive events this year”:

"In the administration, we have already decided to cancel the New Year's corporate party".

There will be no additional expenses this year. For example, toys for the city Christmas tree will not be updated - they will dress up with last year's ones. The money intended for the purchase of Christmas decorations will be used to purchase additional equipment for the military of the republic, who went to the zone of the Russian special operation in Ukraine.
