Car dealerships have foreign cars only for the period of 2-4 months

According to RIA Novosti, referring to dealers, now deliveries are resumed only in part of Chinese and Korean brands. Chinese companies occupy a niche of European and Japanese manufacturers.

In October this year, 45,228 new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles were sold, which is 62.8% less than the same period in 2021. Sales have also fallen in comparison with this September, when 46,698 cars were purchased. The monthly growth of the Russian car market, which began in June, has stopped.

In October, it was reported that Kia may close its business in Russia in the near future. Earlier, Hyundai, which has a partner plant with Kia in St. Petersburg, also announced a possible withdrawal from the Russian car market.
