At least 19 killed in crash in northern Egypt

According to TASS with reference to a representative of the police department of the Egyptian province of Dakahlia, at least 19 people died in a minibus accident that occurred today, November 12.

According to available information, a fatal accident occurred on a highway that leads to the city of El Mansoura, the administrative center of the province of Dakahlia. The minibus with passengers overturned and crashed into the canal, which runs nearby.

Local residents who witnessed the accident rushed to help, but only a few victims were able to get out of the bus alive.

It is believed that the cause of a car accident in northern Egypt could be the error of a driver who lost control on a sharp turn. The provincial authorities are currently investigating the incident.
