RBC: the Kremlin did not rule out postponing Putin's big press conference to 2023

“The annual big press conference of President Vladimir Putin may not take place this year, at the moment there is no final decision on whether to hold it before the end of the year”, - RBC reports, citing sources.

The drawing of a direct line, which is one of the traditional formats of the president's communication, is also questionable. Interlocutors of the agency spoke about the lack of preparation for the event at the moment. Another source added that the course of the special operation will be taken into account when making a decision.

The publication notes that the dates of the direct line, unlike the big press conference, were regularly postponed. The last time the direct line took place on June 30, 2021. On November 11, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov allowed the combination of these events. The Kremlin spokesman said that until a final decision is made, "we do not rule out any options".

The Kremlin also does not have information about when the president's address to the Federal Assembly will take place. Agency sources say that preparations for this event have already begun.
