Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine: more than 30 infrastructure facilities damaged, 10 million people without electricity

Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko said that the attack of the Russian Armed Forces on the country's energy system was the most massive since the start of the special operation. Generation facilities and power transmission systems were destroyed. Emergency shutdowns have been introduced in a number of cities across the country.

On the eve of almost the entire territory of Ukraine was declared an air raid alert. Lviv in Western Ukraine was left without electricity by 80%. There was no hot water and heat in the city, and there was no electric transport. Critical infrastructure facilities were hit in the Kirovograd region.
