The deputies of the lower house of the Czech Parliament approved a resolution recognizing the "Russian regime as terrorist." According to Czech TV, the majority of Czech parliamentarians voted for this - 129 out of 156.

“In accordance with the PACE resolution, the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament considers the current Russian regime terrorist”, - the TV channel said, citing the approved document (quoted by RIA Novosti).

According to Czech TV, the Freedom and Direct Democracy movement, represented by 14 deputies, as well as individual deputies of some factions, opposed it.

The resolution condemns referendums on joining four new regions to the Russian Federation, as well as “attacks on the civilian population of Ukraine” and attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities.

In mid-October, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) unanimously recognized the Russian Federation as a "terrorist regime." Corresponding resolutions were also adopted in Lithuania, Estonia and Poland.
