Since November 10, Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo airports have been subject to the maximum level of threat of terrorist attacks.

Izvestia writes about this, referring to a letter from Rostransnadzor to air carriers and airports.

"To establish from 00:00 on November 10, 2022, the direct degree of threat of committing an act of unlawful interference in the activities of the transport complex that is of a terrorist nature", - is said in the document.

From this day on, airports are required to take additional security measures. Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo supported the introduction of the maximum level of protection.

St. Petersburg's Pulkovo also introduced a third level of security, the source added.

Since the beginning of November, airports in the Central Federal District and the Southern Federal District began to report on safety on a daily basis. On November 11, the Federal Air Transport Agency again extended the ban on flights to airports in the central part of the country and the south - until November 21. This is the 42nd extension of the airport closure since February 24th.
