A total of 50 electric vehicles will be produced at a cost of $2.1 million.

Croatian automaker Rimac's Nevera electric car has been named the world's fastest electric car, according to Evo. On the Pepenburg circuit in Germany, the Nevera was able to reach a top speed of 415 km/h, a third of the speed of sound. Driving at the time was Miro Zrncevic, Rimac's chief tester and developer.

Nevera's closest competitors - Aspark Owl and Tesla Model S Plaid - can reach speeds of 400 km / h and 347 km / h, respectively. However, Nevera still cannot compete with gas-powered cars: the Bugatti Chiron Supersport 300+ is capable of accelerating to 490 km/h.

A two-seat electric car equipped with four engines and capable of traveling on a charge of about 500 km, Rimac Nevera was first presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 2018. Nevera is manufactured at the Rimac headquarters on the outskirts of Zagreb. A total of 50 electric vehicles will be produced. The first of them, worth $2.1 million, have already been delivered to the owners.
