The mode of High level of terrorist threat extended in Belgorod region

A high level of terrorist threat will operate on the territory of the Belgorod region until at least December 6 - it will be extended for two weeks by the decision of the head of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

The Belgorod region is located on the border with Ukraine and has been shelled since the spring of this year. Since mid-October, a medium level of response has been operating in the border areas of the region.

Yesterday and the day before yesterday, two local residents were injured during another shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the village of Nizhny Olshanets and in the city of Shebekino , respectively. On November 18, a pensioner was killed in Ustinka during an attack by the Ukrainian military. On October 17, a resident of Shebekino was seriously injured. She is in the hospital. Two more people died and three were injured as a result of the shelling of the city on 15 November.

For the first time, a high level of terrorist danger was introduced into the area on 11 April.
