The day before, scientists reported that the Shiveluch dome had become very hot, and red-hot avalanches with a temperature of a thousand degrees were flowing from the slopes, pyroclastic flows were descending. This indicates preparation for a powerful paroxysmal eruption.
The message of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations says that it is worth bypassing the volcano and its environs within a radius of 15 km from the top.
Shiveluch has increased seismicity. It can throw ashes up to 12 km above sea level at any time. There is no threat to the settlements.
The eruption is primarily dangerous for those who prefer to visit volcanoes during eruptions, or rent small aircraft. But there are currently no registered bands in the area. Rescuers are still afraid that tourists can go to a dangerous volcano on their own, without notifying the rescuers.
On November 20, the Institute of Volcanology and Seismology of the Far East Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported that during the eruption, the Klyuchevskaya Sopka volcano also began to throw out volcanic "bombs".
