The final calculations of the Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan showed that the incumbent President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev will remain in office for a new term. He won 81.31% of the vote in the elections held in the republic on November 20.

The presidential inauguration is scheduled for Saturday, November 26th.

The fact that Tokayev is in the lead with such a percentage of the vote became known on November 21. His closest rival - the leader of the farmers' association Zhiguli Dairabaev - was gaining 3.42% at that time. 5.80% of voters voted "agains all".

The head of the mission of observers from the CIS, Serey Lebedev, said that no violations of the electoral legislation were found in the presidential elections in the republic.

Recall that a few days before the vote, Tokayev appealed to fellow citizens, urging them to vote in the presidential elections, while calling the president a "hired manager" with whom citizens would conclude a contract for a certain period.
