The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova (pictured), explained where Russophobia comes from in the ranks of Polish politicians. In her opinion, the “blackness of the soul” and the money of the collective West are to blame.

"Such a zealous, notorious hatred of our country that goes beyond reasonable Russophobia. Unfortunately, a number of Polish politicians have been doing just that for the last decades - some from the blackness of their souls, some for the money of the collective West. Nobody hid this", - RIA Novosti quotes the words of Zakharova.

"Russophobic attacks" began long before the start of the Russian special operation in Ukraine, she recalled.

It's worth reminding that the Polish side refused to issue a visa to the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergei Lavrov, so that he could participate in a meeting of foreign ministers of the OSCE states. The ministry called the move "unprecedented and provocative".

Before that, the Polish authorities blocked the participation of Russian parliamentarians in the autumn session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. The Russian Foreign Ministry asked the OSCE participating countries for a position on the situation with the refusal to Lavrov. It is noted that Lukashevich, permanent representative to the OSCE, will participate in the ministerial meeting from Russia instead.
