The specialists of the organization, which was created by a doctor, oncopsychologist, founder of the network of integrative medicine clinics Dmitry Raevsky, are developing modernized devices to perform various combat missions. UAVs are widely used in tactical military operations: for targeting artillery, reconnaissance, observation and control of results. By executing commands remotely, they can work at any time of the day, regardless of weather conditions.
- I am aware of a large shortage of domestically produced drones at the front. And to prevent the loss of fighters, drones are needed like air, - Raevsky believes. - Both the commanders themselves, who have experience in combat operations, and the military correspondents speak about this. We launched this production to help our guys in the SVO.
At the moment, the specialists of KB "Valkyrie" have developed two models of drones.
“We have in production drones for close reconnaissance up to five kilometers, which are not visible on the enemy’s airscope and are resistant to various weather conditions,” said Alexander Kozlachkov, chief engineer of the Valkyrie Design Bureau. - We are also working on cargo drones that can carry up to ten kilograms and stay in the air for up to two hours. They will be able to cruise over fairly long distances in order to break enemy dugouts.
The assembly of the UAV at the Valkyrie design bureau is partly made from spare parts made in China, and import substitution is also being actively carried out. The bureau cooperates with manufacturers from Donbass and Simferopol. The plans include the production of models of gliders, with their characteristics reminiscent of Iranian kamikaze drones with the ability to overcome distances of up to 100 km and lift loads up to 16-20 kg.
- The advantage of our drones is their affordable cost. At the front, mass character is important. There is no need for unique and expensive devices, says Dmitry Raevsky. - War is a confrontation between economies. If it is possible to perform combat missions and cause significant damage to the enemy with weapons that cost much less, victory is inevitable.
To control drones at night, engineers at the Valkyrie design bureau plan to equip the drones with thermal imagers, the power of which is comparable to Chinese ones, but the cost is lower.
In the future, it is planned to open a workshop in the Donbass.
