“Now, to save face, the authors of the previous stuffing switched to the story that Russia is allegedly going to produce Iranian drones on its territory. Again, all this is baseless assumptions, the pursuit of "fried" facts”, - Yermakov said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Ermakov also stressed that earlier in this way they did not find confirmation of "speculation on the alleged supply of Iranian UAVs to Russia". In his opinion, such messages are intended to divert the attention of the world community from the problems of “restarting” the JCPOA on the terms agreed in 2015.
The reason for the statement of the director of the department was the publication of The Washington Post, referring to data from US intelligence and partners. The material claimed that Moscow and Tehran allegedly reached an agreement on the production of hundreds of Iranian drones on Russian territory.
