A death sentence will be imposed on anyone who contacts and gives foreign media the truth about what is happening in this country.

The Parliament of the Islamic Republic intends to pass a law that would allow the authorities to execute anyone who passes information or sends images to foreign media

Another cannibalistic law is being prepared by members of the Iranian parliament: according to it, “in the event of sending videos or images to hostile or foreign networks, the guilty person will be sentenced to the maximum punishment”, - reports the opposition Iranian publication Iran International.

Since the current wave of protests began in Iran after the death of the girl Mahsa Amini in a police station, the authorities have been trying to limit the dissemination of information both within the country and in the international community.

Now the regime plans to pass laws that will allow the killing of people who help the outside world to hear the voices of dissent. When the new law is finalized, it will allow the judiciary to impose death sentences on anyone who comes into contact with foreign media.

In fact, such contacts are equated with espionage in favor of countries hostile to the Iranian regime, including the United States, which is punishable by death in accordance with the Criminal Code of the Islamic Republic. According to Article 286 of the Constitution, any serious breach of public order that causes an attack on the safety or major damage to people or public and private property, or the spread of corruption or prostitution on a large scale, is considered "corruption on earth" and carries the death penalty.

The fact is that the facts of violence and cruelty shown by the Iranian security forces during the suppression of protests became known to the whole world after they were recorded on their gadgets and posted on the Web by their participants themselves. It was this publicity that worried the authorities of the Islamic Republic.

From now on, filming any street actions of the security forces, including those that lead to injury or death, will be punishable by law. “In case of sending videos or images to hostile or foreign networks, the perpetrator will be sentenced to the maximum penalty”, - the text of the bill says.
