Rospotrebnadzor: Ozon customers are not at risk of contracting meningitis through parcels

After reports of an outbreak at the Ozon warehouse near Moscow, all surfaces were treated, and air disinfection was carried out in the warehouse.

An outbreak of meningitis among employees of the Ozon warehouse was recorded at the end of November. A total of 11 people fell ill, all of them were hospitalized.

During the examinations, seven patients were also found who had contacts with the infected. In addition, 15 people with signs of SARS were identified in the focus of infection.

They were sent for treatment, all patients were tested.
